I've made some major updates to the front page of
WebWizardry.net. I've added
new search boxes, fixed a couple of bugs, and split the layout into two
columns. It looks a little cluttered, but hopefully not too much. I
tried to keep it as simple and fast-loading as I could.
One of the new changes: The Amazon.com and eBay search boxes and
links are affiliate links, which means in theory that I get paid a few cents
every time you use them to buy something. I went to a lot of trouble to
make the eBay link work the way I wanted while keeping them happy
(they want to track impressions, but I don't want web bugs on my home page).
If you have something against affiliate links, feel free to not use them;
I didn't make the page to try to make money.
Anyway, this is what I use as my browser's home page, and I invite
you to do the same. Once you get used to using it, I think you'll find
it makes your browsing experience slightly more pleasant.
